JSON-LD that matches the visible page
JSON-LD is a typed copy of the page, not a second article. If the sentences differ, the schema is wrong.
Implementing strict JSON-LD is just one part of our methodology. To see how this fits into a complete AI visibility strategy, review our core Generative Engine Optimization services.
Schema is a mirror, not a second article
Put the script in the head with type application/ld+json. Use @graph when one URL is more than one thing, such as an article plus its FAQ. The headline, the description, and each accepted answer must be the same facts a person can select with a mouse.
View the source of this page. The FAQPage node repeats the questions under the last heading, not a private set of keywords.
A graph that matches this site
GeoHTML pages carry an Organization, a WebSite, and a node for the page itself. Articles add a headline, a date, and the organization as author. Service pages use a Service node. FAQs are a sibling FAQPage, not a blob pasted into a tag manager.
- Article for essays and the manifesto
- FAQPage only when the questions and answers are visible
- BreadcrumbList only for the links the visitor can use
- Service for a service URL, with the same name as the h1
Facts you should not mark up
Leave out anything you cannot point to on the page. That includes invented ratings, fake review counts, prices you did not publish, and authors who are not real people. Organization is enough when a person should not be invented.
The same rule is in the manifesto and in the answer engine optimization service.
Questions about JSON-LD on this page
Where is the schema for this article?
In the document head, as JSON-LD. The FAQ entries repeat the questions and answers in this section, word for word.
Should I mark up reviews I do not show?
No. Do not mark up a rating, a review, a price, or an FAQ that a visitor cannot read on the same URL.
